Melanie has called South Tulsa home for over 20 years. Born in Thousand Oaks, CA, she was raised by missionary parents in the Philippines, Samoa, Singapore, and Hawaii, affording her exposure to a diversity of people and places.
Married with two children and a family dog, Melanie also enjoys doing her part to help others as a board member of a nonprofit that benefits victims of sex trafficking and slavery.
Melanie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and served our country in the U.S. Army and the Air Force. Professionally, she was a retail manager, and more recently ran salesforce databases for a marketing company. Her greatest accomplishment was starting a rugged jewelry company from scratch, where she wore every hat and earned $100K in sales her first year, all with no debt!
